It is correct to point out that the mountain doesn’t move until we say, “Move.” In other words, faith doesn’t work until it is acted upon, which is the point of this passage. Yet it is incorrect to assume that we can believe whatever we want and objects will move simply because we tell them to move. Such reasoning is in league with New Age philosophers, who teach that we can create reality with our minds. To do that we would have to be gods, which is exactly what they teach.
